Vicinity Candle - Logan Square

Inspired by the treats sold at Logan Square's Minnekirken church, with notes of ginger, cinnamon, and clove.

Logan Square, located on the Northwest Side of Chicago, was originally settled by English, Dutch, and Scandinavian farmers in the mid-1800s. Its famous boulevards took shape after it was annexed by the City of Chicago in 1889. Affordable housing soon attracted many immigrants to the area. Though known for its boulevards, Logan Square is also full of architectural landmarks, rich culture, and proud residents. One of those landmarks is the Minnekirken, one of the last remaining Norwegian-language churches in the country.
